A Year of Blooming Success: Flowers Creations Celebrates 1st Birthday in Sittingbourne

On April 26th, Flowers Creations marks a beautiful milestone, one year since opening its doors in Sittingbourne. For owner Kalina, this first year has been a journey of passion, perseverance, and petals, and she's inviting the community to celebrate with her and is offering a 15% discount all week long starting on the 22nd April.

Fresh Start for an award winning florist in Sittingbourne

After successfully serving the Sheerness community, Kalina expanded her floral artistry to Sittingbourne, bringing with her not only a talent for design but also a heart for her customers. While still serving Sheerness, her new location allows her to offer flowers to the surrounding Kent area with ease. Moving into a new town and setting up a new space wasn’t without its challenges, but Kalina has met each one with grace and determination.

Now, one year later, her Sittingbourne florist shop is a growing business…but she can also do with more support! As we know running a small business is tough & Kalina is thankful for every order. She is so thankful for the support of loyal customers and the warm welcome from the local community. But it hasn’t been without the usual growing pains that come with a new business & growing local custom. When Kalina opened, the biggest challenge was keeping a constant supply of good quality flowers in stock despite only having a handful of customers each day. As word grew about the quality and long lasting flowers that Kalina stocked, the orders and instore sales slowly increased. 

Kalina has also listened, tested & adapted to what her customers have said they have wanted. Originally, Kalina would make a small quantity of flower bunches available but it became obvious that the supermarkets dominated the space for basic one flower bunches. Kalina quickly realised that her point of difference is show stopping floral bouquets and specialty flowers. Something that Sittingbourne has needed, a modern florist.

The shop has become a familiar, fragrant haven on the high street, where people pop in for everything from birthday bouquets to “just because” bunches.

Valentine’s Day: A Blooming Success

One of the most telling moments of the shop’s success came this past Valentine’s Day. Orders flooded in, to the point that Kalina had to pause accepting new requests. That overwhelming demand wasn’t just about red roses, it was a sign that Flowers Creations has truly found its place in people’s lives.

Behind each bouquet is Kalina’s artistic eye and personal touch. Every order is treated with care, and customers have come to appreciate not just the quality of the flowers but the thoughtfulness that goes into their arrangement.

This year also saw Kalina play a part in one of life’s most magical moments …weddings. From rustic countryside ceremonies to elegant indoor affairs, Flowers Creations has helped couples bring their floral dreams to life.
